Researches by Margins is an educational project curated by the course of contemporary art history (undergraduated and graduated) of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. It is an observatory which gathers cultural projects focused on the topic of marginality, not as disadvantage element for territories but as guarantee of experimentation compared to centralized spaces sometimes conditioned by binding and conformed systems. The objective is to invite students to read contemporary artistic culture from the lens of researches born 'from the margin'. To re-educate students' gaze on Cassino's territory by understanding its potential as marginal place and by working on its contemporary identity. To relocalize research maintaining an open and updated dialogue with the international cultural scene in the framework of the third mission promoted by the university.
